Meeting women was once easy but the world has changed in just one generation. Not too long ago, everyone was on a mission to match up his or her single friends. Today, things are different. Singles no longer rush into marriage but instead enjoy the benefits of a single life.

This new world requires new ways of meeting women. Today’s women are way to smart to fall for things like phony pick up lines. Leave those pick up lines for the armatures. You simply don’t need pick up lines meeting women the right way.
Salespeople are masters at quickly establishing rapport. Studies cite that “face to face” impressions are often formed in less than four minutes. It’s Friday night and you’re a healthy normal single guy anxious to pick up women. Who can blame you? So, you get all ready but do you have a strategy? There will be plenty of guys out there and you need a strategy to crush the competition and stand out. You need an unfair advantage over all those other guys if you expect to get lucky and successfully pick up women.
I prefer the term “meet women” over the term “pick up women”. Pick up women is a little strong for me but the term, pick up women, gets over 49,000 hits a month on the Internet. If it will help you find my work, I’ll use “pick up women”.
We all want to know how to pick up women. None of us enjoys being shot down or returning home without even one phone number. However, those are the risks we take when attempting to pick up women.
Salespeople are the experts on this subject. Their livelihood depends upon their abilities to find someone to sell something to. Salespeople call this activity prospecting. You can use their powerful prospecting skills to successfully pick up women.
Single guys need to be aware of their body language. You want your body language to say that you are friendly, confident, open and ready to meet women. This is just the beginning of what you need to know if you expect to successfully pick up women.
You also need ways of letting her know you’re interested in meeting her and ways to uncover if she’s open to meeting you. Salespeople call this the difference between an unqualified suspect and a highly qualified prospect. When you pick up women, you only want to approach highly qualified prospects. Catch her eye, smile and then nod your head. A simple smile is not enough. You need to also nod your head. If she returns the gesture, you may be on the road to a qualified prospect.
